Fiber Friend
Using the size indicators on the Fiber Friend, line up the edge of the
template with the edge of your paper.
To change the distance of the stitching, move the template closer or
farther from the edge of your project using the horizontal markings.
Punch your needle tool through the holes, into the paper. Be sure to
have a cork board, or similar "giving" surface underneath your paper!
Stitch your fiber onto the paper using a wide-eyed needle, such as
Chenille, Candlewicking, or Tapestry needles.
Tips:
The holes go around the corners of the template so that you can keep
your holes even.
For large embellishments/projects, skip every other hole on the 1/4"
side. This will make your stitches 1/2" apart.
More tips coming soon!
Design possibilities:
Use the diagonal markings in the center of the Fiber Friend to line up
at the corners of your paper. Punch through the holes in the middle of
the template for fiber designs.
